The Typical Chef’s Academy Graduate is Anything but Typical
A few attributes our graduates all have in common are over 200 hours in kitchen classes, 120 hours of internship experience and 360 hours of externship experience. And on their way to becoming some of the most experienced graduates in the industry, they're juggling a well rounded curriculum on the business side ranging from business communications to computer skills to entrepreneurship.
Generally speaking, they also share professionalism and a desire to both succeed and continue to grow. We even had one alumnus leave a job as Executive Chef so he could continue to learn from more accomplished chefs throughout the industry.
That said, the profile of our typical graduate is that there is no profile of our typical graduate. A big reason for that comes from one of our key selling points: you can go anywhere you want and do what you love. We have students who go over seas, who run a restaurant or hotel here in town, who join auto racing teams, who become personal chefs...the list goes on and on. When you sell that kind of diversity, it's tough to put your finger on one thing.
If these people sound like the kind of people who might fit your needs, contact us to set up an interview or two.
